Biography
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, which I intend to complete in December 2011. Previously, I received my B.S. in Electrical
and Computer Engineering with honors from Carnegie Mellon University in
2006, and my S.M. in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 2008. I am
currently affiliated with the Signal
Transformation and Information Representation group in the
Research Laboratory of Electronics.
My research interests include signal processing and estimation, nonideal
sampling and reconstruction, and video and image processing, including medical

In addition to academics, I have been involved in various leadership activities,
including executive roles at the Sidney-Pacific Graduate
Community and the Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science Graduate Students Association. At Carnegie Mellon, I held various
offices in the Student Dormitory Council. I also
helped organize CMU's first ECE Day event.
Other activities that I enjoy include tennis, board games, ping pong, foosball, and watching Steelers football and Penguins hockey. HERE WE GO!
