Biography

I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which I intend to complete in December 2011. Previously, I received my B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006, and my S.M. in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 2008. I am currently affiliated with the Signal Transformation and Information Representation group in the Research Laboratory of Electronics.

My research interests include signal processing and estimation, nonideal sampling and reconstruction, and video and image processing, including medical imaging. Visit my research page for more information.

In addition to academics, I have been involved in various leadership activities, including executive roles at the Sidney-Pacific Graduate Community and the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Graduate Students Association. At Carnegie Mellon, I held various offices in the Student Dormitory Council. I also helped organize CMU's first ECE Day event.

Other activities that I enjoy include tennis, board games, ping pong, foosball, and watching Steelers football and Penguins hockey. HERE WE GO!
